Aug 17: Newcomer Muzammil Ibrahim had a difficult time working with Pooja Bhatt for her upcoming film Dhoka .

It is common knowledge by now that Pooja Bhatt is directing her third film (after Paap and Holiday ) ‘Dhoka’ which deals with a very pertinent subject about religion and patriotism in today’s age. In the film, Muzammil plays a patriotic Muslim.

But shooting the film wasn’t a pleasant experience either for Pooja or for Muzammil. The newcomer could not perform up to Pooja’s expectations.

Sources from the film’s unit are quoted as saying that Muzammil’s role in the film has a great deal of intensity and therefore required a topnotch performance. Pooja kept demanding more out of Muzammil but he fell short of delivering up to her expectations.

Reports say that on several occasions, Pooja lost her cool and vented her frustration on Muzammil. And the newcomer was not able to handle Pooja’s aggression.

Things became so grave that Pooja and Muzammil stopped talking with each other.

In such a scenario it was Mahesh Bhatt who intervened and sorted the issues out. He made it a point to be present on the sets whenever crucial scenes were being shot.

And now that the film has been shot and is ready to release soon, Muzammil has vowed never to work with Pooja again.
