Beijing, Sep 15 (IANS): A man in China's Chongqing city who won 4.6 million yuan ($721,987) in a lottery divorced his wife the day before he received the money, the media reported on Tuesday.
Liu Xiang received the prize money on February 26, one day after he divorced his wife, China.org reported.
Discovering that the ticket was bought before their divorce, his wife took him to court and got 1.15 million yuan earlier this month.
The man was having an affair before the divorce.
