Bhopal, Oct 27: A woman in Indore killed her father for sexually harassing her, said a police official on Thursday.

According to the police, Hussaini, 50, often extorted money from his daughter Mehajabin to buy alcohol and sexually harassed her ever since his wife died six years ago. He also had scuffles with his son-in-law over the matter on several occasions.

When Hussaini reached 25-year-old Mehajabin's residence on Wednesday, she refused to open the door at first, but let him in when he created a scene outside the house in an inebriated condition.

Mehajbin stabbed her father with a vegetable knife when he made sexual advances at her. On seeing Hussaini fall unconscious, she called her husband Sajid. They got a doctor to check Hussaini immediately but he had died by that time.

The couple then went to the police station and narrated the entire incident. Mehajabeen has been arrested and a case was registered against her. Hussaini's body has been sent for post-mortem.

"I have no regrets about killing my father because he has been trying to sexually harass me for quite some time", Mehajabin told the police.
