Bantwal, Oct 24: Mission Sunday auctioning was held after the mass at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap near here on Sunday October 22 morning.
Earlier the Mission Sunday celebrations began with solemn mass. Fr Alwyn Serrao, principal of Rosario College was the main celebrant. Parish priest Fr Roque D'Sa, Fr Gregory, Fr Monthu and Fr Arun Lobo were the concelebrants on the occasion.
Soon after the mass, the auctioning in aid of Mission Sunday was held. The main attraction among the things brought for auctioning were the rabbits, a calf, poultry birds, cordless phone, mobike etc. People from all religion from the nearby areas participated in the auctioning.
