Mangalore, Oct 13: Mangalore University has postponed examinations of its undergraduate courses scheduled to begin on October 25 to November 2 according to K. Sooryanarayana Rao, registrar (Evaluation).

The examinations of BA, BSc, BCom., BSW, BBM., BCA and BA  (Human Resource Development) both under semester and annual schemes have been postponed to November 2, he said. Practical examinations of all undergraduate courses have also been postponed by a week.

Rao said that as per the academic calendar degree classes for courses under semester scheme were to end on October 19. This has been extended till October 26. The degree classes under second semester will reopen on December 4 instead of November 27.

He said the university had extended the last date to pay examination fee without fine for postgraduate course examinations from October 10 to October 16. This decision was taken as the activities planned for the academic year 2006-07 were affected by the bundh and curfew in the city last week.
