Mangalore, Oct 3: The Mangalore Diocesan Chair in Christianity and Dharma Samanvaya is conducting a four-day lecture series on ‘Art and Spirituality’ by internationally known artist Jyoti Sahi, at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar, here from Monday October 9 to Thursday October 12.

This was announced by Fr John Fernandes, professor and head, Mangalore Diocesan Chair in Christianity at a press meet held here on Tuesday October 3.

Dr C L Furtado, retired bishop, CSI, will inaugurate the series.

During the lecture, Jyoti Sahi will elaborate on the relationship between art and spirituality, and answer questions regarding the subject.  Also an exhibition of his paintings will be open to the public during these days.

Lawrence Pinto was also present at the press meet.
