Mangalore, Oct 2: A newly-married MESCOM employee was electrocuted while on work in a company at Panambur near here on Sunday October 1.

Yogish (28), hailing from Hassan and was an employee with MESCOM for sometime now.  He had married recently and was living at Kulai.

On Sunday he had gone to check the seals of electric metres used by MESCOM to avert power theft in Action Springs Company at Panambur.  As he was repairing one of the metres, he sustained electric shock. As a result he died on the spot.

The Panambur police have registered a case in this regard.
