Mangalore, Sep 29: Alva's Education Trust chairman Dr Mohan Alva on Thursday September 28 released the mp3s and CDs of Quran along with its Kannada translation.

The CDs and mp3s have been produced by Shanti Prakashana. The first CD was presented to Namma TV director Shiva Sharan Shetty.

Speaking on the occasion, Alva stressed on the need to understand and respect all religions as much as one's own.

Among those present were Jamath-e-Islami Hind president K M Ashraf and Shanti Prakashana manager Mohammed Kunhi.
