Bhatkal, Sep 28:  A father, son duo was arrested and alter released on bail for sexually harassing a young woman from Mangalore who was working as a lab technician in a lab here recently.

The accused have been identified as Narayan Rao and his son Sunil Rao, the owners of Sushma Clinical Laboratory in the city.  A young woman from Mangalore had joined the lab as assistant lab technician some 20 days ago.

However, eversince, Narayan and Sunil started troubling her and inflicting sexual harassment.  The young woman finally informed about this to her brother in Mangalore.  Accordingly, her brother came to the lab and took the duo to task.  Meanwhile, the locals too came to know about this and gathered in big number outside the lab.  This paved way for tensed atmosphere in the area.

But the town circle inspector Jaykumar and PSI Basavraj Theli came to the place and intervened.  Having come to know about the entire episode, they arrested both Narayan and Sunil based on the complaint filed by the young woman.  The accused however, were later released on bail.  A complaint has been field against the duo under IPC column 345 in this regard.
