Bangalore, Sep 20: The Girish Kasaravalli-directed film 'Naie Neralu' has bagged the Best Kannada Film award.

Ratnanja-directed film Nenapirali gets the second best film award while the third Best film award goes to Nagatihalli. Senior actress Jayanti has been selected for the prestigious Dr Rajkumar award for which she will get Rs 100,00 in cash and Director V. Ravichandran has been awarded the Puttanna Kanagal award, which carries Rs one lac cash.

The Special Award For Lifetime Contribution goes to senior cinematographer S. Ramachandra.
