Beltangady, Aug 31: Three persons accused in the Rayi gram panchayat member Vidyadhar Jain murder are said to have surrendered before the police on Thursday August 31.

The surrendered have been identified as Pradeep, Prashanth and Vitesh. However, police are yet to confirm the news in this regard.  Sources said that rest of the accused would surrender by evening on Thursday.

As reported earlier, 8 persons were reported to have involved directly in the murder of Vidyadhar Jain.  It is said that all of them had fled to Bangalore after the murder.  But back home, the police had planned to raid their houses.  After knowing this, the accused said to have planned to surrender.

Accordingly they have arrived at Kokkada via Hassan on Thursday and are trying to surrender before the court with the help of an influential person.  In the meantime, the police have seized Hrishekesh Jain's Scorpio vehicle.
