Mangalore, Aug 30: Dakshina Kannada district will see as many as 90 participants at the state-level conference of the Centre for Indian Trade Unions (CITU) which will be held at Bellary.

According to a press release from the CITU district secretary Vasanth Achari, the conference will be inaugurated by CITU president M K Pandhe and will be presided over by CITU state president B Madhava Rao.

Panchayat members, anganwadi workers, auto drivers, akshara dasoha workers, beedi workers, tile factory workers, workers employed in cashew cultivation, bank employees, and employees of state and central governments will be among the 90 participants.
