Mangalore, Aug 29: District in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty distributed ration cards to below poverty line (BPL) families of Pacchanadi, Tiruvail and Kudupu villages at Vamanjoor on Monday August 28.
Speaking on the occasion, Shetty said that the distribution of the cards should be completed in the district by September 10. The registered families of these villages would receive the cards within three days.
Among those present at the programme were Mangalore city corporation commissioner Krishnappa Poojary, taluk panchayat president Gokuldas Shetty and Pacchanadi ward corporator Hilda Alva.
