Udupi, Aug 29: Two women who were trying to snatch a gold chain from women were caught by the Udupi police on Sunday, Aug 27.
The women, Mari (25) & Sita (28) of Tamilnadu were arrested near the Vinayaka Temple, Kumbhashi.
It is learnt that both have been involved in chain snatching and attack gullible victims during festivals. The women are also involved in a similar case registered in Kundapur police station.
The investigation is on to collect more information from them regarding any other offences comitted by them.
