Panaji. May 25: Goa police have registered case against Aurangabad-based person for sending threatening letter to Prithviraj Hazare, group Editor, Sanatan Prabhat Publications, which has been carrying series of stories against terrorism.
Ponda police on Thrusday registered case against one Sheikh Abdul Razak from Gulmandi, Aurangabad under section 506 and 507 of IPC for threatening. As per complaint filed with Ponda police, the letter was received by Sanatan Prabhat's Ashram at Ramnathi in North Goa.
"Sanatan Prabhat's office in Meeraj (Maharashtra) was ransacked by few people, last November. The letter mentions the incident and threatens to give another jolt to the organization," stated editor Hazare.
The editor, in the police complaint, has mentioned that the letter attains importance considering recent arrests of terrorists in Aurangabad. "The letter states that he (writer) intends to convert India into Pakistan," noted the Editor.
Sanatan Prabhat, is a publication house running a daily, weekly and monthlies in different languages and is circulated in Goa and Maharashtra.
The publications are part of Sanatan Saunstha, a spiritual organization.
