RComm repays $500 million foreign loan


New Delhi, Jan 3 (IANS): Telecom service provider Reliance Communications said it has fully repaid another syndicated external commercial borrowing (ECB) loan of $500 million on the scheduled due date Friday.

Earlier this year, the company made full scheduled repayment of two other syndicated ECB loans aggregating $1 billion, and bilateral ECB loans of $310 million.

"With these repayments, RCom has now fully liquidated the borrowings from 23 foreign banks and financial institutions," the company said.
