Gurgaon Oberoi voted World's Leading Luxury Hotel for third consecutive year


Gurgaon, Dec 30 (IANS): The Oberoi, Gurgaon has been voted World’s Leading Luxury Hotel, 2013 for the third consecutive year by the World Travel Awards. This was announced at the Grand Final Gala Ceremony held in Doha.

“It is indeed a moment of pride for us that The Oberoi, Gurgaon has been voted World’s Leading Luxury Hotel, 2013 for the third consecutive year. The honour bestowed on us has been made possible by the efforts of our motivated and passionate team. Our endeavour has always been to put our guests first and to provide warm and personalized service” said Oberoi Group president Kapil Chopra.

In the same awards, The Oberoi, New Delhi has been voted as the India’s Leading Business Hotel, The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra has been voted India’s Leading Resort and The Oberoi, Mauritius has been voted as Mauritius’s Leading Hotel.

Described as the Oscars of the travel and tourism industry by The Wall Street Journal, World Travel Awards are recognised globally by the travel, tourism and hospitality industry as the foremost acknowledgement of excellence in product and service.
