Tata Projects bags industrial infrastructure award


Hyderabad, Dec 6 (IANS): Tata Projects Ltd., an engineering procurement construction service provider, Friday won the Industrial Infrastructure Project of the Year Award at the Dun & Bradstreet Infra Awards 2013.

According to a statement by the Tata Projects here, its Rourkela Steel Plant blast furnace, the largest in India, was adjudged the best in this category for 2013.

This project was selected by an independent jury comprising Amitabh Kant, chief executive officer and managing director, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor; N. Salecha, joint secretary, ministry of urban development, and Ashok Gupta, dean (Infrastructure) at the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi.

The award was received by Manzoor Ameen, chief strategy officer on behalf of the Tata Projects Ltd. from N. Salecha and Kaushal Sampat, president and chief executive officer Dun & Bradstreet.

On this occasion, the Dun & Bradstreet also released its annual publication, 'India's Leading Infrastructure Companies 2013'. Tata Projects Ltd. also featured in this publication.
