Mangalore, Jan 17: Addressing a press meet on Monday January 16, Monappa Bhandary, convener of Rashtra Rakshana Vedike, informed that an awareness procession and meet will be organized on Wednesday January 18, to urge the government to tackle terrorists in Coastal districts and to take immediate steps to put an end to the insecurity feeling among the people.

The procession will start from Dr B R Ambedkar Circle near the Jyoti cinema to the deputy commissioner’s office at State Bank here.

Chief minister Dharam Singh has announced that Dakshina Kannada district is in the list of terrorists attack, he said. The recent attack on the Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore, indicates that the terrorists are heading towards south India, though earlier they were restricted to north India, he added.
