Mangalore, Jan 8: Catholics in large numbers, coming from all over the diocese, joined in the Eucharistic procession that commenced at 4-00 pm on Sunday, January 8 from the Church of Our Lady of Miracles, Milagres towards the Rosario Cathedral.
Laity and religious men and women wound through the main street between Signal circle and Rosario. Bishops Aloysius D'Souza of Mangalore and Robert Miranda of Gulbarga took the lead.
The procession was followed by community prayers in the Cathedral.
