Mangalore, Jan 7: The 10th Alumni Congress of St Aloysius College was inaugurated on Friday January 6 here.
Retired high court judge Justice Michael Saldanha inaugurated the congress and said that it was necessary to put into practice what one learnt in college.
Addressing the gathering Ananthakrishna, chairman, Karnataka Bank, reminisced over his days in college back in the year 1964.
Fr Pradeep Sequeira, scholar and Aloysius alumnus, spoke on ‘ Jesuit values and education in the context of globalization’.
Nearly 200 alumni had arrived from the state and other various states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
