Shiva has his Hands Full


Chennai, Oct 22 (IANS): Radio Jockey-turned-actor Shiva, known for successful Tamil comedies "Thamizh Padam" and "Kalakalappu", is a busy man with about half-a-dozen projects lined up.

"Shiva currently has 'Sonna Puriyadhu' in hand, which will be followed by 'Thillu Millu 2'. He has also signed a new project titled 'Ya Ya' with director Rajasekhar. Sequel to 'Kalakalappu' is also in the offing," a source told IANS.

He debuted in 2007 with Tamil multi-starrer comedy "Chennai 600028" and rose to stardom with the 2010 Tamil comedy "Thamizh Padam", which was later remade in Telugu as "Sudigadu", and is now being made in Hindi as "Filmy Picture".

The actor is currently busy shooting for "Sonna Puriyadhu", about a young man, played by Shiva, who is against marriage, but his friends want him to enter wedlock.
