London, Oct 19 (IANS): After a rough start, dancer Tre Holloway has managed to make an impression on girlfriend Cheryl Cole's mother.
Holloway, 29, gave Joan, 53 a cross and a chain engraved - "To Mam Love Tre" - and it changed the latter's perception that the dancer might hurt his daughter, reports thesun.co.uk.
Earlier, Joan had expressed concern about her daughter getting heartbroken again after Cheryl's ex-husband Ashley Cole cheated on her with several women.
However, after the present and getting pampered at a top London spa, Joan has given her blessings to Holloway. She even attended the party after her daughter ended "A Million Lights" tour in hometown of Newcastle.
This gave people an idea of the strengthening relation between Cheryl and Holloway as sources said: "It was a big public statement."
