Noida, Oct 3: A young man allegedly died by suicide on Saturday after jumping from the 43rd floor of the upscale Supernova building in Noida's Sector 94.
The incident took place at the Aspire Tower of the Supernova society. The impact of the fall was reportedly so severe that the victim's body was severed into two pieces. Residents also reportedly heard a sound resembling a bomb blast following the impact.

According to reports, the youth was staying at an Airbnb in the Supernova complex. A video purportedly showing him jumping from the building has also surfaced on social media and gone viral.
The identity of the deceased and the reason behind the extreme step have not yet been ascertained. Police are investigating the incident.
Media reports, quoting an AC mechanic who allegedly tried to stop the youth from jumping, said the man told him that he was depressed before taking the extreme step. However, this claim has not been independently verified.
The incident was reportedly recorded by horrified residents present below, and the video has since circulated widely on social media.
In a separate suicide case reported last month, a first-year MCA student was found hanging in his room in Sector Alpha-2, under the jurisdiction of the Beta-2 Police Station in Greater Noida.
