Faridkot, Sep 20: Punjab Police have arrested four people and seized 47.3 kg of heroin, firearms and ammunition while busting a cross-border drug smuggling network in Faridkot on Sunday.
Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said in a post on X that the police recovered three pistols, three magazines, 15 cartridges and two vehicles from the accused.

The investigation revealed that the accused were linked to a network involved in smuggling heroin and illegal arms across the border into Punjab, Yadav said.
A case has been registered at Sadiq police station in Faridkot. Further investigation is underway to identify the wider network and establish its forward and backward linkages.
