Udupi, Sep 9: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Glowinstar Integrated School on September 5. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome speech. After the welcome, the principal Dr T J Quadros, headmistress Nethew Fernandes and the teachers paid tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by offering flower petals to his portrait, remembering his remarkable contribution to education and his enduring legacy as a teacher and scholar.

The principal Dr T J Quadros addressed the gathering and shared words of appreciation for the teachers and their valuable contribution to the lives of students. The teachers then participated in fun and entertaining games, creating a joyful atmosphere. This was followed by a colorful cultural fiesta presented by the students. The students dedicated a beautiful song to their teachers and spoke warmly about the importance of teachers and their role in shaping young minds. The students also presented energetic and graceful dance performances, which added color and excitement to the celebration.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the programme, and their heartfelt efforts truly made the teachers happy. The celebration was filled with joy, laughter, appreciation and memorable moments. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the Teachers’ Day celebration a wonderful and memorable occasion.
