PM Modi hails ISRO’s GSLV-F17 success, calls it a proud moment for India

New Delhi, Sep 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of the GSLV-F17 mission, describing it as an outstanding achievement and a proud moment for the country.

In a post on X, Modi said the successful launch of the GSLV-F17 carrying EOS-05, India’s first imaging satellite from geosynchronous orbit, reflects the excellence, innovation and growing capabilities of the country’s space sector.

He said the mission would further expand India’s space ecosystem and highlighted the growing partnership between ISRO and Indian industry.

“Yet another outstanding achievement by ISRO and a proud moment for our nation,” Modi said, adding that the mission demonstrated the increasing capabilities of India’s space sector.
