One killed, four seriously injured in KSRTC bus-Bolero collision near Sakleshpur

Hassan, Sep 3: One person was killed and four others seriously injured after a KSRTC bus collided with a Bolero pickup vehicle near Maranahalli in Sakleshpur taluk on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Dinesh (38). The injured have been identified as Subramanya, Venkataramana, Jitendra and Durgaprasad.

According to reports, the Bolero pickup vehicle belonging to ICICI Bank was transporting cash to ATMs when it collided with the KSRTC bus travelling from Mangaluru towards Bengaluru.

The injured, who are reportedly from Kodagu and Mangaluru, were shifted to Crawford Hospital in Sakleshpur for treatment.

Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered at the Sakleshpur Rural police station.
