New Delhi, Sep 3: A property dealer was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants outside a fitness centre in Delhi’s Narela area on Thursday morning.
The victim, identified as Pramod, was walking outside the gymnasium with a neighbour when the incident occurred at around 7:15 am.
According to preliminary information, two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire, reportedly firing around 16 rounds. Several bullets hit Pramod, killing him.
Police suspect that the killing could be linked to an extortion demand or an old personal rivalry.
Police teams reached the spot and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being examined to identify and trace the accused.
Further investigation is underway.
