Margao, Aug 28: Three vehicles were gutted and another suffered minor damage after a fire broke out in the ground-floor parking area of a bungalow at Navelim on Thursday evening.
The blaze erupted at around 6 pm, gutting two cars and a two-wheeler, while the front portion of a jeep was damaged in the fire, Margao fire station officer Gill Souza said.
The bungalow belongs to Simon Rebello.
Although the exact extent of the loss is yet to be ascertained, fire brigade officials have estimated the damage at around Rs 1 crore.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
Margao police also visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
