Sullia, Aug 28: A motorcycle parked for repairs at a vehicle accessories shop in Ambatedka was allegedly set on fire by an unidentified person during the night.
The incident reportedly took place at Vehicle Cafe Car Accessories, where Jayaprakash of Mulya in Ajjavara village had left his motorcycle for repair of its headlight.
According to reports, a person wearing a raincoat arrived at the shop during the night, allegedly poured an inflammable substance on the motorcycle and set it on fire before fleeing the spot. The incident was captured on the shop's CCTV camera.
The motorcycle was damaged in the fire. The reason behind the incident and the identity of the person involved are yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
