Mangaluru, Aug 27: MP Capt Brijesh Chowta lauded the dedication of BJP leader Santosh Kumar Rai Boliyaar, stating that his initiative to build ‘Namo Kuteera’ homes for the underprivileged, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is a model not just for the district but for the entire nation.
He was speaking at the housewarming ceremony of the seventh 'Namo Kuteera' built at Adka Doddamane compound in Ullal taluk for Shravan Belchappada, the ‘Darshana Patri’ of Adka Sri Bhagavati Daivasthana. Capt Chowta handed over the keys to the beneficiary family and prayed for Boliyaar’s good health, noting that he has strengthened the party through continuous social service.
RSS Karnataka Dakshina Prant Sahakaryavaha P S Prakash commended Boliyaar for his selfless service. "Despite being in politics, Santosh Boliyaar has never sought power and has always engaged in society-oriented work. Even during his illness, there is no hint of despair in his voice.








His willpower remains strong, and he intends to fully recover to continue serving society. It is commendable that many kind-hearted individuals are now coming forward to build houses for the needy, inspired by him," he said.
Sri Shivayogi Durgananda Swamiji of Madur Mariyannapalu Shivadurgambha Math blessed the occasion.
Former chairman of Mysore Electrical Industries Ltd and BJP leader Santosh Kumar Rai Boliyaar addressed the gathering, saying, “I have spoken closely with Prime Minister Modiji and felt a divine energy in him. I planned to build ten houses for the underprivileged in his name, and so far, seven have been completed. With everyone’s blessings, I have recovered ninety per cent from my illness.”
MLC Kishore Kumar Puttur, BJP district president Satish Kumpala, former mayor Premananda Shetty, senior BJP leader Seetharam Bangera, convener of Kairangala Sharada Ganapathi Vidya Kendra T G Rajaram Bhat, BJP constituency general secretary Mohan Raj, district cleanliness ambassador Sheena Shetty, retired headmaster Ravindra Rai Kallimar, Dinesh Sharma, BJP leaders Chandrashekhar Uchil and Chandrahas Ullal, businessman Dinesh M P, Daivajna Dinesh Panikkar, Murur Bovi Mahasabha president Harish T Uchil, Santosh Boliyaar’s wife Veena S Rai, son Samyakt Rai, and daughter Sparsha S Rai were present.
