Media Release

Mangaluru, Aug 17: With hearts filled with patriotism and minds brimming with creativity, the young learners of Ladyhill School ICSE joined together to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day through two engaging competitions—the tricolour collage competition and the fancy dress competition on the National Symbols of India.

The competitions came alive with colour, creativity and patriotic spirit, as our little learners participated with joyful enthusiasm. Through vibrant artwork, colourful costumes and confident performances, they explored the richness and diversity of India while expressing their love for the nation. These meaningful experiences nurtured creativity, confidence, national pride and respect for our heritage, making the Independence Day celebrations truly memorable.

The little stars of nursery brought the spirit of patriotism alive through a vibrant Tricolour Collage competition. With joyful enthusiasm and boundless creativity, they transformed simple materials into colourful works of art using the proud hues of saffron, white and green. The activity nurtured their imagination, fine motor skills and appreciation for our national flag, making it a delightful celebration of creativity and love for the nation.

The Fancy Dress Competition on the National Symbols of India burst into life with colour, creativity and patriotic spirit. Our young learners delighted everyone as they transformed into India’s cherished symbols, beautifully portraying the Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian Peacock, Lotus, Mango and many more symbols. Adorned in vibrant costumes, LKG kids confidently showcased their characters with adorable charm and enthusiasm. Beyond the fun and excitement, the activity helped them discover the significance of India’s national symbols while nurturing confidence, creativity, self-expression and a heartfelt love and respect for our motherland.

Independence Day competition was not just a celebration of colour and creativity; it was also a fun-filled learning experience, helping children recognise and appreciate the symbols that represent India's rich heritage, natural beauty and national identity.
