Mumbai, Aug 10: The makers of the much-awaited Mirzapur: The Movie have unveiled four new character posters featuring some of the franchise's most popular characters — Kaleen Bhaiya, played by Pankaj Tripathi, Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyenndu, Guddu Pandit, played by Ali Fazal, and Bablu Pandit, played by Vikrant Massey.

The posters have added to the excitement as the film's trailer is set to be released on August 11, 2026.

The new character posters were released two days ahead of the trailer, setting the tone for the next chapter of the popular franchise. Mirzapur: The Movie will bring the world of the hit series to the big screen for the first time, with the trailer expected to offer audiences a glimpse of the scale, conflict and drama awaiting them in theatres.

The film takes audiences back to the world established in the series and brings together several of its most recognisable characters, including Guddu Pandit, Munna Bhaiya and Kaleen Bhaiya.

The film also features Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal S Chauhan, Anangsha Biswas, Shaji Chaudhary, Satendra Soni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.

Backed by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna.

Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are producing the film under the Excel Entertainment banner, along with co-producers Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani.

The trailer will be released on August 11, while the film is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on September 4, 2026.

The movie will be released in Hindi and Telugu.
