Mumbai, Aug 7: Acclaimed filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, who won international recognition for his action thriller Kill, is set to make his Hollywood directorial debut with Deadlocked, an action thriller starring Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx.
The film has been acquired by Amazon MGM Studios for worldwide distribution and will premiere globally on Prime Video.

The screenplay has been written by Eric Scott Anderson and Matt Takejiro Bosack, based on an original story conceived by the duo. The project is being produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger for Range, Dave Caplan for C2, and Jamie Foxx under Foxxhole Productions, with several others serving as executive producers.
