Mumbai, Aug 5: Netflix reality show Lock Upp 2 has finalised its top five contestants after a dramatic episode that saw Akanksha Chamola and Varun Yadav eliminated just ahead of the grand finale.
In the latest episode, hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan introduced a twist by dividing the contestants into two groups — "deserving" and "undeserving". While the deserving group was tasked with deciding who would be eliminated, the undeserving contestants were given the power to send one contestant directly to the finale.
Following discussions, Akanksha Chamola, Shilpa Shinde and Ram Kapoor unanimously selected Shreya Kalra as the second finalist of the season.

Meanwhile, the deserving group, comprising Varun Yadav, Yogesh Rawat and Shreya Kalra, unanimously voted to eliminate Akanksha Chamola from the competition.
Later, during another task, Shivangi Joshi secured the first opportunity to save a contestant and chose Ram Kapoor, making him the third finalist. Shreya Kalra then saved Shilpa Shinde, who became the fourth finalist.
The final spot came down to Yogesh Rawat and Varun Yadav. Shivangi Joshi saved Yogesh before Varun could be chosen, resulting in Yogesh becoming the fifth finalist and Varun Yadav's elimination.
The finalists for Lock Upp 2 are Shivangi Joshi, Shreya Kalra, Ram Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde and Yogesh Rawat. Shivangi had earlier secured the first finalist spot in the previous episode.
The grand finale of Lock Upp 2: Sach Ya Sazaa is scheduled to stream on Netflix on Wednesday, August 5, from 8 pm.
