Kadaba, Jul 31: A 66-year-old man died after an arecanut tree broke and fell on him amid strong winds and rain while he was working in a plantation at Kewala in Kunthuru village of Kadaba taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Yadava Gowda (66).

According to reports, Yadava Gowda was working in the plantation when a sudden spell of rain accompanied by strong winds caused an arecanut tree to snap and fall on him.
