Mumbai, Jul 27: Acclaimed Indian actress Padmapriya has revealed that she became a mother at the age of 45, sharing the happy news with her fans nearly a year after the birth of her child.
The actress, known for her performances in critically acclaimed films across multiple languages, posted a photograph of her baby's tiny hands on social media with the caption, "365 days of life," marking her child's first birthday.
Padmapriya married Jasmine Shah in 2014, and the couple has now welcomed their first child after 12 years of marriage. The announcement drew congratulatory messages from colleagues in the film industry, friends and fans.

Unlike many celebrities who publicly share their pregnancy journey, Padmapriya had kept her pregnancy private. She has not revealed the baby's face or gender, choosing only to share a picture of the child's hands.
Padmapriya has acted in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, earning acclaim for portraying performance-oriented roles rather than conventional glamour characters.
In Kannada cinema, she is best known for starring alongside actor Shivarajkumar in the film Tamassu. She has received several state and national awards in recognition of her performances.
