Udupi, Jul 22: A 45-year-old hotel worker has been reported missing from Shirva, police said.
The missing person has been identified as Praveen Poojary (45), who was employed as a cook at a hotel in the town.
According to the complaint lodged by his brother, Praveen left the hotel on July 16 but did not return to work thereafter. He also failed to return to his residence at Santur or visit his wife's house in Nitte.
As his whereabouts remain unknown despite efforts to trace him, a missing person case has been registered at the Shirva police station, and further investigation is underway.
