Kundapur, Jul 20: Rtn Akshatha Girish Aithal installed as the new president during the installation ceremony of the new office-bearers of Rotary Club Koteshwar, Zone 2, held at Sri Vinayaka Sabhagruha in Kumbashi.

Chief guest and installing officer Abhinandan Shetty, addressing the gathering, emphasized that more women should actively participate in Rotary Clubs and contribute to community service.

On the occasion, the club's official website was launched. The Koteshwar Seva Dal and three educational Rotaract Clubs were also introduced.

During the ceremony, Rtn Akshata Girish Aithal was installed as the new president of Rotary Club Koteshwar, while Rtn Arun Devadiga assumed office as the secretary, along with the newly elected team of office-bearers.

Among the dignitaries present were assistant governor of Zone 2 Rtn Sudhakar Shetty Tekkatte, past assistant governor Rtn Gajendra Shetty, Zone 2 Zonal lieutenant Dayananda Acharya, immediate past president Vijay Kumar Shetty, and immediate past secretary Sudhir Kumar Shetty.

Club members and honorary members were also present at the event.
