Bangkok, Jul 12: Tulukoota Bangkok successfully organised a two-day cultural event on July 4 and 5, bringing together members of the Tulu-speaking community for a dinner gathering, a meet-and-greet with film artistes, and the premiere screening of the much-awaited Tulu film '90 ML – Kullugana'.
The event featured an interactive session with the film's cast, including Roshan Shetty, Vinith Amin and Samata Amin, who engaged with the audience and shared their experiences, creating a warm and homely atmosphere for the attendees.

Adding a nostalgic flavour to the celebrations, participants were served Gujjeda Gatti, a popular monsoon delicacy specially brought from the coastal region of Karnataka, reminding many of their roots in "Namma Kudla".
The premiere screening attracted an enthusiastic audience and received an overwhelming response from the Tulu-speaking community in Thailand. Members of the Kannadiga community in Bangkok also joined the celebrations, reflecting the strong cultural bond between the two communities.
The organisers said the event was a grand success and reaffirmed Tulukoota Bangkok's commitment to promoting Tulu language, culture and cinema among the diaspora in Thailand.
