Udupi, Jul 8: Day 3 of the Manipal International Summer School (MISS) 2026 at Manipal Academy of Higher Education began with participants engaging in immersive academic sessions across their respective tracks, fostering collaborative learning and global perspectives.
The second half of the day featured a cultural immersion under the theme "Houses, Objects and Everyday Design." Participants visited Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village, where they explored meticulously preserved traditional homes, artefacts, and everyday objects from different regions of India. The visit offered valuable insights into the country's architectural heritage, craftsmanship, and the cultural significance of everyday design, enriching their understanding of India's diverse living traditions beyond the classrooms.
