New Delhi, Jul 1: A massive fire broke out at an electronics showroom in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area early Tuesday, engulfing a multi-storey commercial building before firefighters brought the blaze under control. No casualties were reported, officials said.
According to the Delhi Fire Services, the fire started in the basement of the ground-plus-three-storey building and quickly spread across all floors, destroying electronic goods, electrical items, furniture and fixtures spread over an area of around 350 square yards.

More than 15 fire tenders and over 75 firefighters were pressed into service to contain the blaze. After several hours of firefighting, the fire was brought under control at around 6.30 am.
Cooling operations were continuing to prevent the fire from reigniting.
"Fire broke out at an electronic goods showroom. The fire has been almost brought under control and cooling operations are underway. No casualties have been reported," Divisional Fire Officer Rajinder Atwal said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and authorities are expected to conduct a detailed investigation into the incident.
