Bengaluru, Jun 30: The Agnesians of the Bangalore Chapter came together for a memorable alumni meet on June 28 at the Catholic Club, Bengaluru. It was a beautiful Sunday morning as everyone gathered with great enthusiasm, making for a vibrant start to the celebrations.
The programme commenced with a grand entry of the alumni, followed by the soulful rendition of the college anthem, “God Is Our Strength,” setting a nostalgic and inspiring tone for the day.










The gathering was honoured by the gracious presence of Sister Roopa, vice principal of St Agnes College, who presided over the function. President Coreen D'Souza Fareed warmly welcomed Sister Roopa, the other sisters, and all the fellow Agnesians.
The formal proceedings began with the annual report presented by secretary Annette Menezes, followed by the financial report for the year 2025–26, presented by treasurer Prajwal Mathias.
The election of the new committee was then conducted by election officer Yvonne Rasquinha. The following office-bearers were elected:

Several enthusiastic new members also joined the committee, bringing fresh energy and ideas for the coming year.
Addressing the gathering, Sr Roopa expressed her gratitude for being invited and appreciated the continued bond shared by the Agnesians with their alma mater.
During the meeting, the president proposed a donation for St Agnes College where ten deserving students would get fee concessions. It was also proposed that a donation be extended to the Apostolic Carmel Sisters, who manage St Antony’s Institute, Bengaluru, reaffirming the alumni association’s commitment to service and giving back to society.
With the formal proceedings concluded, the atmosphere transformed into one of celebration and fellowship. Members were treated to a delightful lineup of entertainment featuring melodies of Tulu, Konkani, and Kannada songs performed by fellow Agnesians, energetic flash mobs, and engaging group games that kept everyone entertained.
The reunion provided the perfect opportunity for old friends to reconnect, reminisce, and strengthen the bonds that continue to unite generations of Agnesians. Laughter, conversations, and cherished memories filled the venue throughout the afternoon.
The successful event concluded with a sumptuous lunch, leaving every participant with warm memories and renewed friendships, making the Agnesian Bangalore Chapter alumni meet 2026 a truly memorable celebration.
