Orange alert: Holiday declared for all educational institutions in Kasargod on Jul 1

In the wake of continuous heavy rainfall and an orange alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting severe downpours tomorrow, the district administration has declared a holiday for all educational institutions on July 1.

Kasargod district collector Arjun Pandian announced the decision as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students.

The holiday applies to all educational institutions across the district, including professional colleges, schools, anganwadis, nurseries, Kendriya Vidyalayas, CBSE and ICSE schools, tuition centers, and madrasas.

The administration has clarified that there will be no changes to previously scheduled examinations and interviews, and they will be conducted as per their original schedules.
