Mumbai, Jun 30: Anil Kapoor gave fans a glimpse of his affectionate bond with his pet dog on Tuesday by sharing a series of adorable moments on social media.

The veteran actor posted a collection of photos and a video on Instagram, showing himself spending quality time with his furry companion. In the clip, the pet is seen showering Kapoor with affection by repeatedly licking his face as the two relax together on a sofa.

Sharing the heartwarming post, the actor captioned it: "Love, served with extra licks," accompanied by laughing and heart emojis.

Kapoor's younger daughter, Rhea Kapoor, responded to the post with a string of heart-eye emojis, expressing her love for the father-and-pet moments.

Rhea had introduced the family's pet dog, Russell Crowe Kapoor, to social media in 2020 through a special Instagram post. At the time, she revealed that the puppy had quickly become the centre of attention at home and affectionately described him as a "bundle of love." She had also shared that the young dog fell ill shortly after arriving, causing concern for the entire family before making a full recovery.

She later created a dedicated Instagram account for Russell Crowe Kapoor, where she regularly shares updates and photographs of the beloved pet.

On the professional front, Anil Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Alpha, the upcoming spy thriller directed by Shiv Rawail. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead roles and is being promoted as the first female-led instalment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 3.

Kapoor will also feature in King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The much-anticipated project stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, marking their first on-screen collaboration.

The ensemble cast of King also includes Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma.
