Mangaluru, Jun 17: Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangalore in association with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore & Karnataka State Pharmacy Council, Bangalore organized Seminar on "Campus to Corporate" "Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Start-Up" at Valachil campus, Mangalore on 17 June 2026.
Dr A. Srinivas Rao, president of A Shama Rao Foundation and chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangalore, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and addressing the delegates, he emphasized that pharmacy is a noble profession in which innovation plays a pivotal role in advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes.

The chief guest, Jatish N Sheth, director of Srushti Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, and president of CIPI Karnataka Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers Association, highlighted that innovation is the driving force empowering the pharmaceutical industry and that entrepreneurship has the potential to transform lives and society. Sunil Attavar, chairman of Group Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bangalore addressed the gathering and stated that pharmacists are among the major contributors to the healthcare system. He congratulated the budding pharmacists for making the right career choice by opting for the pharmacy profession and encouraged them to strive for excellence and innovation in their professional journey.
The MoU was signed between Srushti Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore aims to foster collaborative efforts in the field of "Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Start-Up" Through this agreement, the institutions have committed to promoting high-quality research by combining their expertise, resources, and academic strengths. The partnership is expected to enhance advancements in pharmaceutical Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

This seminar continued with various technical sessions had academic interactions providing a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and professional development by eminent speakers Jatish N Sheth, Sunil Attavar & Prakash Mallya, Professor, and co-ordinator CPPA cell, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Mangalore.
Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu, professor, Anvitha DK, associate professor anchored the programme. Dr Krishnananda Kamath, professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy proposed vote of thanks.
