Mangaluru: Two escape unhurt in car-lorry collision

Mangaluru, Jun 17: Two persons travelling in a car escaped unhurt after a lorry collided with their vehicle at the dangerous Angaragudde curve near Kenchanakere on the Kinnigoli-Mulki state highway.

According to reports, the car was proceeding towards Udupi from Kaikamba when it was hit by a lorry travelling towards Kinnigoli at the Angaragudde bend.

The impact caused damage to the car. The accident also led to a brief altercation between those involved, resulting in traffic disruption along the busy stretch.

Personnel from the Mangaluru North traffic police visited the spot, conducted an inspection, and cleared both vehicles from the road, restoring the flow of traffic.
