Daijiworld Media Network – Seoul

Seoul, Jun 11: The cast and crew of the hit SBS drama My Royal Nemesis are reportedly planning a special trip together following the show's remarkable success, though the broadcaster has clarified that it will not be an official reward vacation.

According to local media reports, the drama team was expected to travel to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, from July 7 to July 10. However, SBS stated that discussions are still underway and that only a small gathering involving some cast and crew members is being considered.

An SBS representative said the trip is not an official reward vacation and added that neither the destination nor the dates have been finalised, as schedules are still being coordinated.

My Royal Nemesis has emerged as one of South Korea’s most popular television dramas this season. The romantic comedy stars Lim Ji Yeon as Shin Seo Ri, a struggling actress whose life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes possessed by the spirit of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era. Heo Nam Jun plays Cha Se Gye, a powerful chaebol heir known for his ruthless personality.

With only four episodes remaining before its finale, the series continues to attract strong viewership and widespread audience attention.

The drama has also maintained its dominance in popularity rankings. According to Good Data Corporation’s buzz rankings for the first week of June, My Royal Nemesis secured the top position among television and OTT dramas for the second consecutive week, underscoring its continued appeal among viewers.

The show's strong ratings and online buzz have further cemented its status as one of the standout Korean dramas of the year.
