Mangaluru: Man goes missing from Kannur area, police launch search

Mangaluru, Jun 3: A 59-year-old man has been reported missing from the Kannur area of the city, prompting police to register a case and initiate efforts to trace him.

The missing person has been identified as Suresh (59), a resident near Veeranagar Anganwadi School in Kannur. According to police, he had been staying at home due to persistent back pain.

On May 29, at around 10 am, Suresh left his residence and failed to return. Despite efforts by family members and relatives to locate him, his whereabouts remain unknown.

Suresh is known to speak Kannada, Hindi and Tulu.

A missing person case has been registered at Kankanady Town police station, and further investigation is underway. Police have appealed to the public to provide any information that may help trace the missing man.
